Once I visited the US and the family took me to a shooting range. I shot a rifle, handgun, shotgun, but I have no idea what type. It was pretty fun but also not something worth obsessing over like some people do.

An SMLE MK III that I used to own. But I sold my guns when I went overseas and then my gun License expired so now I don't have any and can't get more. My cousin has his gun license now so I could shot his but I don't really care enough, not even his dodgy somehow legal basically semi automatic Shotgun.

Some AR-15 variant (probably a Schmeisser), a 9mm Glock and a pump action with Slugs. The Glock was a pretty uncomfortable shooting experience, should have gone for a Beretta instead.

My friends Colt Python, CZ Shadow, and 12 gauge shotgun. Probably going to go to the shooting range again next month with a different friend and shoot his guns.

Shooting could be fun if it weren't so prohibitively expensive. I also hate cleaning guns. Sure, .22 is cheap at about 20c per shot, but if you shoot a bigger caliber you'll pay upwards of 50c per shot. Even shitty training ammo in .308 from one of the cheapest producers is at over 1 Euro per shot.

Are you talking about German prices? In Poland and Czechia as well as other Eastern European countries, I think prices are okay.

Yeah that is how it is here too. To be fair a lot of the larger rounds like 308 are hunting rounds and when hunting you don't use up much ammo. But ammo is still expensive.

Why obviously? Nobody right in his mind would go shooting in Germany, the experience is much better in neighboring countries (and so much cheaper)

I own guns, I am not a shooting tourist who goes to Czechia to pay money for getting to hold an AR so he can jack off better next night. I also don't live next to an eastern country.

G36, when I was in the Bundeswehr. It was a yearly mandatory duty to shoot.

"Professional" as in "main job". Draftees are not, for example.

Interesting. What did you do? Are you a true Bernd who did good informatician stuff? I remember a guy from my bachelor's who actually went as a conscript and when they found out he knew more than nothing about computers they put him into an office to work with Word.

>Interesting. What did you do?
I was on a naval unit as a Decksgast. We did the basic stuff, like doing bridge watch, care for the top deck, painting the unit in beautiful grey and fighting the rust, doing maneuvers like docking, anchoring, towing, etc. and in harbour doing the military watch and fire-fighter stuff in case it burns.
>Are you a true Bernd who did good informatician stuff?
Nope. I could have tho but then I would have to sign for 12 years.

Some .22 while on the Murrica. Also a crossbow if you're willing to count that. Could've shot the modded SKS of my host's neighbor but at the end of the day it was his hunt and I didn't care that much.
